James Pierce is the founder and senior pastor of Life Changers Christian Center, (one church, two locations), in Lansing and Muskegon, Michigan, which serves over 4,000 members. With more than 15 years in ministry, Dr. Pierce is a dynamic pastor who influences thousands of lives through exceptional teaching of the word. He and his wife, Dr. Stacia Pierce, have built a contemporary prototype ministry based on excellence and practical Biblical principles. He is also an outstanding father to the successful young authors Ariana and Ryan Pierce.

A native of Muskegon, Michigan, Dr. Pierce is committed to community empowerment and building up people to impact the world. Each year Life Changers host several outreach programs that has gained outstanding recognition from several political dignitaries. He and Dr. Stacia Pierce received the key to the city of Lansing 2004 for outstanding leadership and community development.

As a leader of leaders, Dr. Pierce also provides ministry mentoring and training through the Ministers In Training School and the Excellence In Ministry (EIM) Network. The EIM network provides keen insight to pastors, helping them to clearly communicate their vision, build a strong foundation, raise leaders, and grow an outstanding ministry. Under his direction, Life Changers Christian Center has become a haven for leadership training and personal development.

James Pierce is a premiere expert on leadership training and excellence. In the fall of each year, hundreds of pastors and leaders attend the Excellence In Ministry Conference, held at the Life Changers Christian Center main campus. In addition to the conference, he also hosts the Excellence In Life national television broadcast and has published several leadership training manuals. His best-selling book, Success Secrets of Excellence is often used to train businesses and churches alike.

Dr. Pierce has earned two PhDs in Philosophy and Religious Studies. As a master trainer, he is well known for his powerful, practical, direct, and sometimes-humorous approach to biblical teaching. Exemplifying boldness, integrity, with a mark of excellence, he leads a prototype ministry with a modern approach to changing lives for Christ.
